Grief Help Psychotherapist
Grief is a complex response to any kind of loss in your life.
People are mostly aware of the emotional response to loss, but it also has physical, mental, behavioural and social aspects. The death of a loved one, be they friend, family, or any other kind of loss is a common part of the human experience.
Losses can also include loss of a job, loved pets, your status, your sense of safety and order, your possessions, as well as the loss of the people nearest to you.
Although the healing process is a personal one you do not need to make the journey alone.
Therapy can be a way to help in this process. In a climate of safety and trust you can be heard without being judged.
You can learn to listen to your deeper self, discover what is true for you and develop and practice the means to effectively communicate with those you care about. You can resolve long-held conflicts and find a way to joyfully celebrate those who have passed on.
